I've been on sabbatical this semester, working on several projects. These include a new piece for my GLOBE controller called of the survival of images. Click here to read and see more about it.
I've also been busy with several performances of my recent piece for piano and interactive electronics called Desire with Digressions. Click here to read and hear more about it. Desire with Digressions was recently chosen to appear on the upcoming SEAMUS CD, Vol. 23. We are planning the recording for the end of August sometime....
Another project is a video piece inspired by the same Brian Evenson story, Desire with Digressions. The video piece will exist in at least two forms: as an added video component of the piano piece, and as a stand-alone fixed media video piece. FIlming has been under way this spring in a variety of locations, including Paris and California.
